Love Letter: Seal & Send ("the App") is built around one idea: what you write is yours. This Privacy Policy explains, in plain terms, what the App does and does not do with your information.
There Is No Account, and No Server
The App does not ask you to sign in and does not have a backend server. Every letter you write, every photo you tuck into one, and every draft in your library is stored only in the App's local storage on your own device. We never see it, and it is never uploaded anywhere. If you delete the App, that data is gone with it.
Photo Library Access
If you choose to add a photo to a letter, the App asks for permission to read your photo library. The photo you pick is placed into the letter you are writing and stays on your device like everything else — it is never transmitted to us or to any third party. You can decline this permission and still write and send letters without a photo.
Sending a Letter
When you send a finished letter, the App hands the text (or a keepsake image of the sealed letter) to the share sheet, Messages, Mail, or WhatsApp — whichever you pick. That hand-off goes directly from your device to the app or service you chose; the letter never passes through us.
Advertising
The App shows ads, supplied by Google AdMob, on the letters shelf only — never on the page where you write, seal, or send a letter. All ad requests are made as non-personalized, no matter how you answer the tracking prompt below.
On iOS, the App asks for App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission before the ad SDK starts, because Apple requires this of any app that links the tracking framework, whether or not personalization is actually used. Declining the prompt changes nothing about how the App behaves; ads still show as non-personalized either way. Google and its advertising partners may still use device-level signals (such as approximate location from IP address, ad performance, and the app's SKAdNetwork identifier) for basic ad delivery and fraud prevention, under their own privacy policies:
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13, does not knowingly collect any information from them, and requests non-personalized, general-audience ads only.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective as soon as they are posted on this page.
