COMPLIMENT SENDER PRIVACY POLICY

Compliment Sender ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Compliment Sender handles information when you use the mobile app.

1. Information You Provide
Compliment Sender lets you create, save, and manage content such as compliment preferences, favorite compliments, custom categories, journal notes, goals, uploaded photos, photo-based compliment cards, and other content you choose to add in the app.

If you use the photo compliment feature, you may choose a photo from your library or take a new photo with your camera.

2. Permissions
Compliment Sender may request access to:
- Camera: to take photos for journal entries, compliment cards, and photo-based compliment generation.
- Photo Library: to choose existing photos for cards, albums, journal entries, and photo-based compliment generation.

You can deny or revoke permissions at any time in your device settings.

3. How Your Data Is Stored
Much of your app content is stored locally on your device so your preferences and saved items remain available between sessions.

4. How We Use Information
Information is used only to:
- Display and personalize your compliment experience.
- Save your preferences, favorites, journal entries, goals, albums, and custom content locally on your device.
- Generate photo-based compliments when you choose to use that feature.
- Let you create and share compliment cards using your device's native sharing options.
- Show ads inside the app.

5. Photo-Based AI Features
If you use the photo compliment generator, the photo you select and related request data are sent to Google's Generative Language API to create a compliment. Do not use this feature with photos or content you do not want transmitted to a third-party AI service.

6. Advertising and Third-Party Services
Compliment Sender uses third-party services, including:
- Google AdMob, to display ads.
- Google's Generative Language API, if you use the photo compliment generator.
- Your device's native sharing tools, if you choose to share a card.

These services may collect or receive information according to their own privacy policies and terms.

7. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not require account creation to use the core app features.

We may share information only as needed to provide app features you choose to use, such as:
- Sending selected photos to the AI service when you request a photo-based compliment.
- Sending shared content to another app or service when you use your device's share sheet.
- Allowing ad providers to serve ads in the app.

8. Data Retention and Deletion
Because much of your data is stored on-device, you control retention of that content. You can edit or delete saved items within the app. Removing the app generally removes local app data from your device, subject to your device and backup settings.

9. Children's Privacy
Compliment Sender is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted with a revised Effective Date.
