This Privacy Policy explains what Buna Fortunes ("the App") does and does not do with your information.
There Is No Account, and No Server
The App does not ask you to sign in and does not have a backend server. Your saved fortunes and foresights are stored only in the App's local storage on your own device.
Camera Access (Buna Foresight)
The Foresight tab asks for camera permission so you can point your camera at a coffee cup for the reading. The photo is used only to drive an on-screen animation while your foresight is revealed — it is generated locally on your device, is never uploaded, saved, or transmitted anywhere, and is discarded as soon as the animation finishes. We do not perform facial recognition or any other analysis on the image, and no biometric data is extracted from it.
Advertising
The App shows ads supplied by Google AdMob. All ad requests are made as non-personalized, no matter how you answer the tracking prompt below.
On iOS, the App asks for App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission before the ad SDK starts, because Apple requires this of any app that links the tracking framework, whether or not personalization is actually used. Declining the prompt changes nothing about how the App behaves; ads still show as non-personalized either way. Google and its advertising partners may still use device-level signals (such as approximate location from IP address, ad performance, and the app's SKAdNetwork identifier) for basic ad delivery and fraud prevention, under their own privacy policies:
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13, does not knowingly collect any information from them, and requests non-personalized, general-audience ads only.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective as soon as they are posted on this page.
